NEW DELIVERY - ONANCOCK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
Station 9 - Onancock Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., took delivery of "Ambulance 92" on Friday, August 19, 2011. The ambulance was built by Horton and is placed on a 2011 Ford E-450 chassis, powered by a gasoline motor. The new unit features a climate controlled patient compartment and is equipped with an all L.E.D. emergency and D.O.T. lighting package. Partial funding for the unit was provided by the Virginia Rescue Squad Assistance Fund. The unit was delivered by FESCO Emergency Sales of Elkridge, Maryland. (http://www.fescosales.com/)
