MVC Fleming Road, Greenbackville
On Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1449 hours, Station 2 (Greenbackville) was alerted to respond to a MVC with possible injuries, near 2640 Fleming Road in the area of Swan's Gut Bridge. Engine 2-3 arrived on location to find a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries. Chief 2 (B. Outten) established Fleming Road command. Paramedic 2-1 handled three (3) patient refusals and the crew of Engine 2-3 provided traffic control. Virginia State Police (VSP) investigated the accident.
