HAZARDOUS CONDITION ~ PARKSLEY
On September 16, 2011 Stations 7 (Parksley) was alerted for a hazardous condition just north of Royal Farms on Lankford Highway. A dump truck had lost its load covering the north bound lanes for about a quarter of a mile stretch of highway. VDOT and VSP assisted with traffic control. VDOT used sweepers to clear roadway. The dump truck company also assisted in the clean-up which took approximately two hours to clear.
