CHIMNEY FIRE, BAYSIDE ROAD (WHITE RABBIT)
01/05/2012 Stations 7 (Parksley) and 9 (Onancock) were dispatched for a chimney fire on Bayside Road in the Community of White Rabbit. Engine 7-5 arrived on scene with nothing evident from the exterior. Chief 7 (Kelly) had Bayside Road Command. Crews checked the interior and laddered the structure to check the chimney. The cause was determined to be a malfunctioning oil heater.
