MVC - LANKFORD HWY, NELSONIA
On January 3, 2012 at 13:22 hours, while operating on the scene of a Woods Fire, Sherwood Drive Command (DC-6 S. Bagwell) was notified by dispatch of a MVC on Lankford Highway, near their location in Nelsonia. Command released DPS-3, Medic 72, & Rescue 4 to respond to this incident. DPS-3 (Gaskins) established Command and confirmed a single Patient with entrapment. Dispatch alerted Station 8 (Tasley) for a second Extrication tool & called the Maryland State Police for aviation, per protocol. Engines 4-6 & 6-5 were then also freed up from Sherwood Drive to assist Station 4 with the extrication.
